Pietro Marullo: Wreck – List of Extinct Species
Oslo rådhus

The huge, inflated, abstract black vinyl sculpture that takes centre stage in Wreck – List of Extinct Species, swallowing naked humans whole and spitting them out again, will give rise to many associations – for example an image of a leviathan or sea monster, or a metaphor for capitalism.
Floating unpredictably and menacingly around the stage, this giant balloon-like form and its interactions with live dancers, a sound system and the audience combines strangeness and menace generating various conceptual layers and viewpoints.
