Working with video artist Ellen Røed, their Leilighetsportretter (Apartment Portraits) combine image, sound, action, concept art, installation and live audiovisual performance into an ethnographic field trip around the flats of Oslo. The performance is a kind of time-travelling journey through several decades of interior design and social context, featuring moving video cameras, microphones amplifying the spaces, and improvised sounds as Lemur respond to the various architectural reconstructions of classic city apartments as well as telling the stories of their former owners.
