Beatriz Ferreyra in conversation with Natasha Barrett
Moderator: Rob Young

Beatriz Ferreyra is increasingly recognised as one of the most innovative composers to emerge from the Parisian electronic music collective GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) in the 1960s. After moving from her native Argentina to Paris in 1963, she made her own radical, vivid music with Pierre Schaeffer and others, before leaving to pursue her own creative paths. The day before a portrait concert of her post-1978 music, she joins Oslo based sound artist Natasha Barrett for a conversation about electronic music, creativity, motivation and inspiration.

Before the conversation a 30 minute documentary film on Beatriz Ferreyra will be screened.
