Babyopera gives children a taste of the strong emotions adults experience through the medium of opera.
For Ultima, Babyopera will develop two baroque-flavoured performances, adapted by composers Maja S.K. Ratkje and Eivind Buene, and featuring sopranos Silje Aker Johnsen and Elisabeth Holmertz.
These two new works for very young children (0-3) are presented as performances with a total duration of 30 minutes and are designed to put the children in touch with emotions of loss, grief, pain, comfort, courage and hope.
