Rain is the starting point for Asbjørn Blokkum Flø’s sound installation Electric Rain (see separate entry). For this event, Flø and collaborator Ernst van der Loo will perform Black Rain, a live electronic work based on the sounds and theme of the artwork. Self-generating analogue synthesis will combine with the three-dimensional soundscape of raindrop sounds in the installation. The concert will be followed by a brief lecture on different kinds of rain, clouds and signs of climate change from Leonidas Tsopouridis (Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research), as well as an artist talk with Asbjørn Blokkum Flø hosted by Nathan Budzinski.
