120/70 NOK (Museum ticket includes access to concert)
Høvik Ballett was Norway’s first free contemporary dance group, and over a period of two decades led the way in importing and promoting the new avant garde dance and choreography to the country. In September 2019 they celebrate 50 years of activity with a retrospective book and pop-up exhibition (21–29 September) as well as this day of events and performances at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter.
The line up for this celebratory dance fest features totally new work as well as pieces that refer to the ensemble’s half-century history at the forefront of modern dance, movement and music.
Schedule:
Vivild Bergersen: World premiere of new dance work with music from Risto Holopainen. With Tora Ferner Lange, Camilla Borud Strandhagen and Risto Holopainen
Tone Gellein: Høvik Ballett i et rom for dans - en performance
Rolf Wallin & Bjørn Rabben: Purge for electronic music and percussion
Jan Erik Vold: poem
The pop-op exhibition is open on 21 September.
Produced by Henie Onstad Kunstsenter and Høvik Ballett.
