Contemporary ensemble Cikada have created a special competition for this year’s Ultima. Earlier in the year they put out a call for members of the public to send in videos of themselves playing a self-created music work. They encouraged entrants to make use of unconventional or commonly used objects from around the home or workplace.
During this entertaining event they will present the best entries, and Cikada's musicians will interpret the pieces from the winning videos.
