Since their debut in 2003, Danish group Efterklang have established themselves as a stellar name on the global scene with their unclassifiable, sophisticated blend of acoustic, electronic and orchestral elements. After having been absent from live performance for the past six years, Efterklang are now making a triumphant return to the stage with a new and enhanced line-up featuring instrumental players from Norway, Denmark, Belgium and Lithuania.
Efterklang, who are currently based in Copenhagen and Lisbon, have always been interested in fusing beats, electronic/acoustic textures and emotive vocals with imaginative concepts and classical or cinematic settings. They have previously appeared at prestige venues such as Sydney Opera House and the New York Metropolitan Opera and release a new album Alltid Sammen, in September 2019.
Ultima will be one of very few concerts they will perform in 2019, and the audience will be treated to totally new music as well as a variety of old favourites.
