In collaboration with the new Henie Onstad Triennial for Photography and New Mediaexperimental electronic, musician TCF will perform his new software-based multimedia work.
TCF aka Lars Holdhus frequently uses code, cryptography and generative systems in his complex, fascinating music. Here he has built a software architecture that feeds off neural networks, machine learning and the Unity gaming platform, which leads to an audio-visual experience that reshapes itself every time it is played.
TCF is concerned with the environmental footprint of music and this project, which sends software gathering information around the world instead of physically travelling, is intended to make minimal ecological impact.
