Ultima Nights at Oslo’s freshest new venue Youngs!
Ultima presents two club events at Oslo’s freshest venue, Youngs, highlighting the point where club based sounds collide with avant garde approaches.
The first night on Friday 20 September takes in a broad sweep from the northernmost point of Scandinavia to the hothouse of South East Asia where two challenging multinational experimental club hijacks celebrate minority people and post-colonial queer liberation music from Maja S.K. Ratkje and Katarina Barruk, Nguyễn + Transitory and Charlotte Bendiks.
The second of Ultima’s nights features two of the most dynamic current artists pushing the limits of urban music and experimental beats, presented with Moor Mother’s Afrofuturist hip-hop and radical queer beats in a halo of light with Lotic & Emmanuel Biard.
